Outside of being a marketing professional, I have a lot hobbies that keep me busy. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Being from the very middle of the country gives me a unique perspective and experience with all of the different regions of the country, as most places were not too far to visit.
After high school, I ventured out of my beloved hometown and went to The University of Tampa for my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I chose The University of Tampa for the experience-based business education. It wasn't just theories in a textbook. It was real world client consultations.
Curiosity is a key driver in my life. Outside of work, I am very passionate about restoring my 100+ year old home and the furniture in it. I love being creative and learning new skills. With my home and furniture, this often means learning how to use a new power tool. Inside of work, this translates well to learning new platforms, software or processes quickly.
In the spirit of wanting to learn something new, I got my Missouri Real Estate License before purchasing a house. I wanted know more and found the topic interesting, so I went for it. While my current career is not in real estate, I highly value the knowledge I gained and have found it useful many times outside of a real estate career.
Like many of us, I am also very obsessed with my dogs Dolly and Porter as well as my cats Tammy and Willie. They are a constant source of entertainment and much of my home décor revolves around them.
I hope this gave you a glimpse into my personality and who I am outside of my career!
